Terms of Service for Bullet Cat

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Bullet Cat - Journal & Planner ("Bullet Cat", "we", "our", or "the App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Bullet Cat is a journaling and planning app designed to help users capture tasks, notes, events, scheduled items, and personal journal entries.

The App may include free features and paid subscription features under Bullet Cat Pro.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bullet Cat. If you use the App on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account information up to date.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the tasks, notes, events, journal entries, and other content you create in Bullet Cat ("User Content").

You grant us the limited right to store, process, and transmit User Content solely as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App.

You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that it does not violate applicable laws or the rights of others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

use the App for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes;
attempt to access another user's account or data;
interfere with the App's security, operation, or infrastructure;
reverse engineer, copy, modify, or distribute the App except as permitted by law;
upload or store content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates applicable law.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

Bullet Cat Pro may be offered as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store.

Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's terms and policies. We do not process your payment card information directly.

Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

Access to Pro features may depend on App Store purchase status and entitlement information provided by Apple and/or RevenueCat.

7. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

If a free trial or promotional offer is available, the terms shown at the time of purchase apply. After a trial ends, the subscription may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date according to Apple's rules.

8. Refunds

Refund requests for App Store purchases must be submitted to Apple. We cannot directly issue App Store refunds unless Apple provides a mechanism that allows us to do so.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using the App, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services such as Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple App Store services, Google Sign-In, and Sign in with Apple. These services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Intellectual Property

Bullet Cat, including its design, software, branding, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of the App or any related intellectual property.

12. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms when needed. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users where required.

13. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Bullet Cat is a productivity and journaling tool. It is not professional, medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.

15. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or create legal or security risk.

Termination does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through your Apple account settings.

16. Apple Standard EULA

If Bullet Cat is downloaded from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom EULA is provided.
